Three Years

Happy 3rd birthday to my sweet baby girl!
You mean everything to me, my little love.  While I wonder how three years could fly by so quickly, I marvel at the fact that I've been there everyday to see you growing,
learning, loving, playing, believing, and dreaming. I can't imagine what
the years ahead have in store for you.  I'm so grateful that I get to share them
with you.
We love you always and forever, with all of our hearts.

Celebration.

We recently helped celebrate a friend of ours little boy's second birthday.  It was held at the park on a chilly, breezy day.  It was a fun-filled afternoon playing, and eating, and smashing a piƱata.

I find this picture hilarious.

Easter.

Easter Sunday was a really lovely day.  The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and Harper had a great time looking for (lots of) eggs.  I would have posted a video but I get distracted easily and forget to watch what I'm filming instead of watching Harper.  So the videos are bumpy and a bit nauseating.  But got all dressed up to take pictures, hunt eggs, and eat.  I hope your Easter was just a blissful.

Her Birthday

Though this post is quite a bit belated (how does time fly by so quickly?), this is how we celebrated Harper's second birthday.
Learning how to do "two" with her fingers.

Eating a birthday treat - ice cream!

Unfortunately, momma had a doctor's appointment on her birthday, but she was still happy!

Opening her presents from Papa and Mimi.

Her birthday treat from Mimi.

The treat table at her birthday party (on Saturday the 31st).

Thanks to everyone who came to the party and made Harper's day that much more special!  Two weeks later and she's still talking about everything she did that day ("kids play in jumpy!" "play in sandbox with kids!" "eat pupcakes!").  I believe that two years-old is going to be a very enjoyable year indeed.

First Birthday

The celebration of Harper's birthday included:
- Hanging out with Momma (always a good time!)
- Lunch with Grammie
- Wearing owl panties (iron-on from Joann's)
- Making dinner for our family
- Making vanilla cake and cupcakes and decorating them with a little help from KidsCakes
(the icing is buttercream and we used blueberries to color it purple. Picture color  looks more grey than it actually was)
- Eating said cupcakes
- Receiving a momma made quilt

Hopefully tomorrow there will be some videos uploaded!
